Body Wash Usage Tips:
Use less Body Wash than you expect. Remember that without fillers or garbage of any kind, our products are very concentrated.
Overturn or gently shake the bottle before dispensing to mix the many skin-loving ingredients.
The natural essential oil scents are wonderful. Here are some thoughts about each: PeppyMint Body Wash is deliciously invigorating and, of course, cooling in hot weather. LemonEssence Body Wash is refreshing, invigorating and brings the cheery feel of lemon. Lavender is perhaps the most useful essential oil for skin care, so choose this if you have some skin situations on your body or just love lavender. Healing and regenerative, lavender is wonderful for any skin type and calming and soothing to the nerves. Orange essential oil is terrific for dry and aging skin as well as other skin types. Bare & Beautiful has very low scent, just the pleasant scent of the natural body wash ingredients.
Many of our customers have two or three scents of Body Wash on hand for different moods and needs.
Body Wash also makes a perfect liquid hand soap.
We always advise showering and bathing in purified water. This is both a beauty and a health tip, since chlorine and other toxins in tap water are caustic to the skin and rough on our insides, too. Check out our water filters if you do not have one already.
Children of two years age and under should not be exposed to mint as it can put them in some degree of shock. It is preferable to wash babies and very young children in our Baby Soap & Shampoo.
If you use a scrubbie, loofah or washcloth, make sure it itself is very clean. We keep some Astonishing SuperClean Powder in the bathroom for washing these out (and other hand-washing). If you pour some Body Wash (or any soap) on a somewhat dirty cloth or scrubbie, the soap will first be used to clean the cloth. After using a cloth, scrubbie or backbrush, rinse it, wring it out or shake out the water and allow it to air-dry completely between uses to reduce or eliminate mold. (Astonishing is useful to clean this also, since its essential oils are powerfully disinfectant.)
